Happy Memorial Day! I threw together a quick infographic to share the results of my most recent reader survey. I personally enjoy when bloggers give readers a look into the results. I always want to know if the posts I like align with the posts other readers like too.
As you can see I only highlighted one reader comment on the infographic but want to assure you I read and took to heart every comment from the survey. One reader wanted a full post on Chinese Crested dogs (coming soon!). A few of you wanted me to highlight the places I travel and one of you asked if I would discuss the Pacific Northwest and what it is like living in Seattle. I love living in Seattle and have a lot of pride for the city. I definitely can try and incorporate more about Seattle and the Pacific Northwest. Thanks for the suggestions!
If you look at the results regarding what you like to read and don’t like to read it’s pretty obvious you guys like updates on my life (thank goodness) and like reading posts about personal reflection and self growth (yay)! The rest of the subjects (dating/fashion/wellness/books) are sort of a toss up with some of you enjoying them and some of you feeling sort of “ehh” about the subjects. Looking at these results I was a little confused about how I should interpret the statistics at first. There wasn’t a topic anyone overwhelmingly disliked or that anyone overwhelmingly loved (other than self reflection/life updates). However since I usually alternate between a fashion/wellness/dating inspired post I think what is most important is that I don’t get hung up blogging on only one of those topics. You guys like variety! I will be sure to keep your opinions in mind as I work to strike a balance.
Ranting about my feelings is my specialty. I am really grateful you guys like reading my ramblings, reflections and attempts at knowing myself better because I’m not sure I could stop that sort of cathartic writing even if I wanted to. As I move into the next big chapter of my life (law school), I am sure I will turn to blogging to help sort out my feelings and struggles.
As always I appreciate your feedback. I never would have dreamed blogging would have become such a gigantic part of my life when I started my blog at age 20. I am so grateful for the relationships that have grown from my tiny space on the internet. Have a wonderful Memorial day!
