The past few days have offered up glimpses of sunshine instantly elevating my mood. I am definitely one of those people that gets a little down in the winter and finds herself feeling happier and cheerier in the spring. When the sun is shining the world just seems better. Though I actually have been cutting back on clothes (rather than adding to my closet) I can’t help but dream about all of the pretty floral and/or spring inspired pieces out there. I can’t even let myself near an Anthropologie right now…I just don’t have that level of restraint.
Floral Dress| I know, I know “florals, for spring? Groundbreaking”. I normally say “no” to midis (it’s just an awkward length on me) but could not resist this retro floral. I love a good wrap dress and in a whimsical floral print like this one-I’m sold! I’m also majorly tempted by this floral romper with a bow in the back…too cute!
White Converse| Comfortable sneakers are a spring staple for taking the dog for a walk in the park, cartwheeling and even pairing with sundresses for a super casual look. White converse are a favorite of mine!
Backless Mules| Backless mules are EVERYWHERE this season, grab a pair now and you can throw them on with white jeans and flowy dresses. This trend transitions into the warm days of Fall. With a neutral pair like the Greer mules from Madewell you’ll get a lot of wear out of the heels.
Flirty Jumpsuit| Wear the Ryanne Printed Jumpsuit on a date, to brunch with your girls or to browse your local farmer’s market. The bright print is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and make a statement wherever you’re going.
Gingham Dress| The Kinsey Off the Shoulder dress from Anthro practically screams “Throw me on and have a picnic in the park” or “Buy yourself a big bouquet of peonies because girl you deserve it”!
Ruffled Top| I love that this trend can be worn all over the place (work, the weekend, date night, etc.). I’m all about functionality and this girly trend transitions seamlessly. This lace long sleeved option is ultra feminine and this cold shoulder ruffle blouse is crisp and fashion forward.
Simple Studs| I received the Sophie Harper cluster studs in my latest Rocksbox set. I love the ethereal look of the gold and crystals but can’t decide if I’ll buy them because I’m trying to save for furniture (ugh). Still I had to share them with you because I think they’re a great pair of studs to have in your collection.
Spring Tote| Personally I need a good tote bag for every season. I have been using a brown leather Tory Burch tote for the past two years and because I carry so much in it it is starting to break down. I’m in the market for a new carry all tote and this scalloped pink tote from B.P. is super affordable and great for spring.
Cute Wedges| I love a good pair of wedges-I get supermodel #LegsForDays without sacrificing comfort. These Tory wedges come in three colors (black, white and nude) and are a stylish neutral you’re bound to wear throughout spring and summer.
Do you have any new styles you want to try this season? What’s on your spring wish list?
