Despite my tendency to splash spaghetti sauce on myself, the little white dress has always been one of my favorite spring wardrobe pieces. I’ve incorporated a variety of white dresses into my wardrobe from a flowy boho style dress from Free People, to the structured Jack Wills dress my aunt and uncle bought me for my graduation lunch to the simple little white dress I’m sharing today. I snagged this specific dress last year for under $50 which made it a versatile little white dress as I’m not too afraid to wear it out to eat (and inevitably stain). Thank goodness for bleach pens!
I don’t follow the “no white before memorial day” rule. I broke out my little white dress to wear to work and paired it with a bright pair of lace up flats and pastel purse. A jean jacket completes the casual look. For a chicer style I like to dress up a little white dress with wedges and a colorful a-line jacket. A delicate necklace or statement piece works equally well with this spring essential.
