It’s not every day you’re able to dress like a celebrity on the red carpet. New Year’s Eve is one of the few times a year it feels appropriate to really go all out glamourous. Though it may seem premature to begin prepping for New Year’s Eve before you’ve even enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner when shopping for formal dresses it is better to get an early start.
Last year I spent New Year’s Eve at a winery in Napa Valley, it was a black tie masquerade ball and SO much fun (full recap here). I used Rent the Runway for my super romantic princess style gown and felt like Taylor Swift via Love Story all evening long. I’ve used Rent The Runway a handful of times and I have yet to be disappointed.
My advice when renting a dress…book your look as early as possible. I’ve already booked my dress for New Year’s Eve and a few of the looks I considered were already booked up in my size. Luckily Rent the Runway has a pretty large selection so if you’re on top of things you’ll definitely be able to find a dress for the occasion.
