Monday evening I had the opportunity to spend a few hours with the wonderful team at Something Silver at Pacific Place. I mentioned previously I was partnering with Club Monaco, but due to a few logistical issues the store no longer was able to participate in the event. Luckily, the staff at Something Silver were sweet enough to allow me to join in the party for the evening. Trying on all of the gorgeous jewelry was such a treat (let’s not even go into all of the cookies I scarfed down), it was like playing dress up all night.
Something Silver was founded in Washington with two locations in Seattle and a location in Bellevue. Since its founding Something Silver has expanded nationally, there is even a store at Downtown Disney. Accessories are so much fun and honestly I’m guilty of underutilizing them. As a nanny I was so used to all of my jewelry getting tugged on, chewed on or accidentally thrown in the diaper genie (true story) that I inadvertently let my pieces start collecting dust.
My evening at Something Silver totally reignited my love of accessorizing. Something Silver carries a variety of pieces in a range of price points. I completely fell in love with a Turkish Anatoli ring. I modeled it for a few social media shots and I’ve been daydreaming about adding it to my permanent jewelry collection ever since. It’s convenient to shop at Something Silver because there truly is a piece for everyone. Fast fashion brands such as Kitsch offer trendy and affordable pieces like ear cuffs and hand chains while simple, dainty pieces work well for a classic, timeless look.
Local artist, Kelley Reese was having a trunk show in store on Monday night as well. Kelley is originally from Baltimore but has spent the last ten years living in Seattle creating beautiful jewelry and sculptures. It was so cool to see Kelley’s pieces while learning a little bit about her passion (jewelry-making) and creative process. As someone who is not crafty in the slightest I really admire those who are artistic and choose to share their gift with the world. Be sure to check out Kelley’s collection at Something Silver here!
Style UP Pacific Place was a great shopping event, luckily the fun isn’t over quite yet. For those of you in Seattle, be sure to stop by tonight (Wednesday) for menswear, and Thursday for a live runway show. Thanks so much for having me Something Silver & Pacific Place!
