Hi world. It’s March 2nd which (in case you didn’t know) insinuates Spring is just around the corner. I’m all about Spring, this winter hasn’t been too terribly tragic in Seattle (I guess the East Coast can’t say the same thing) but nonetheless I am already craving warmer weather, longer days and bright pastel clothing. Spring trends are consistently the most fun but maybe that is just my inner California girl speaking who craves 80 degree weather and floral sundresses year round. Is Gingham still a trend? Because I’m so not over it.
When I was shopping in Santa Monica recently I sauntered into Ted Baker and sort of fell in love. I’ve seen Ted Baker pieces at Nordstrom before but had never been in an actual Ted Baker location. It was reminiscent of falling down the rabbit hole and wandering into Wonderland but without all of the psychedelic drugs that made Wonderland a little nightmarish if we’re being honest. Ted Baker is Alice in Wonderland meets London meets a magical garden tea party. I want it all! Why didn’t anyone tell me that I was missing out sooner? But like actually how have I lived without this dress in my life? #HelpMeImPoor
While I’m busy making sad faces outside of the Ted Baker store waiting for my Fairy Godmother to appear and grant me one shopping spree I want to help you shop until you drop this Spring. I’ve teamed up with a lovely group of bloggers to give away $800 to Nordstrom (click here). If you’re obsessing over Ted Baker (like me) you’ll have plenty of options (DO SHOES EVEN GET PRETTIER THAN THIS?!) or if you’re into something else (like this Tory Burch dress #Swoon) you’ll have plenty of options because (hello!) Nordstrom is amazing.
Head over to Oh My Gosh Beck to enter and if you win please try not to rub it in my face too much! I’m throwing a macaroon & champagne themed cocktail party on Friday and I think a Ted Baker party dress would be the perfect outfit to play hostess in. A girl can dream!
