I know holiday gift guides are popping up EVERYWHERE but I just love them and can’t help but join in on the excitement! When it comes to holiday shopping I find the whole experience a bit overwhelming #HelpMeImPoor but a lot of fun nonetheless. I’ve mentioned previously that I hate shopping for boys (boyfriends, brothers, uncles, dads…all of them suck) however I could shop for girl friends all day long. When it comes to friend shopping I think the whole Christmas experience is so festive and exhilarating…girls rule boys drool. I love that all of my best friends are different enough from me that it makes picking the perfect gift a little bit of a challenge but similar enough that it’s still fun to shop for them. Last year I created this Girlfriend gift guide, this year I wanted to update my ideas for 2014.
Left to Right:
Kate Spade “Speak of the Devil” Phone Case| I am a huge advocate for Kate Spade phone cases, they’re fun, they’re girly and they’re always a bit sassy. This one is perfect for the rebellious friend we all have (and love).
C.Wonder Zodiac Candle| Shhh I may have ordered these for a few friends…they were too cute. I couldn’t resist!
Gatsby Green Light Friendship Necklaces| The back of these necklaces say “Jay” & “Daisy” #swoon. If you and your bestie are literary nerds or just looking for a unique way to proclaim your love for one another these friendship necklaces are sure to be a hit (I have an extra soft spot for anything Gatsby themed as of late).
Best Friends Beanie Set| Another twist on the classic friendship necklace, these beanies are fun and perfect for skiing together, walking around a snowy village or simply walking to class on freezing winter mornings!
Kate Spade “Partners in Crime” Bangle| I don’t think you can go wrong with a simple gold bangle, especially of the Kate Spade variety. Your Partner in Crime will be ever so thankful!
Ban.Do “Party Time” Cuff| This fun cuff (or anything Ban.Do) says “Fun, Sparkles, Champagne and Unicorns” all at the same time. I own about a million Ban.Do pieces and I always want more (pretty sure your Bestie does too).
Girly Girl Pencil Set| If your girlfriend is a student (or has her own grown up office) these whimsical pencils are sure to help her “whistle while she works”.
Ted Baker Puppy Tote| Because it’s chic, it’s practical and the most adorable puppy is wearing the most adorable crown.
Zodiac Trinket Tray|For whatever reason I think zodiac trinkets make great gifts and this trinket tray is no exception! I’ll take the Capricorn tray pretty please.
People I’ve loved Time Map| A stellar “Time Map” calendar to fill in as you make your way through time, great for anyone with a new years resolution to “live in the moment” or a nostalgic friend.
“I Woke Up like This” Mug|Perfect for sipping coffee flawlessly each morning.
Fur-Ever & Ever Gloves| Cold hands really aren’t a whole lot of fun especially in the Polar Vortex that is Winter 2014. I’m constantly loosing gloves and a cute pair like this would be extra motivation to keep track of them.
Kate Somerville Gift Set| I’ve raved about Kate Somerville before and I will continue to do so! If you have a friend who is a bit of a beauty and skin care junkie this gift set is a great introduction to a fabulous line (I dare you to try it and not become addicted).
What are you buying your best friends for Christmas? Exchanging gifts with my friends is one of my favorite parts of the holiday season, I feel so satisfied when I find something the receiver truly loves!
