Do you ever wish everyday was a fabulous Cinderella ball? Don’t lie, because I have to admit…I’d be fairly content filling my day with fabulous events filled with fabulous opportunities to wear fabulous designer dresses (who here is surprised?). Because I’ve recently become obsessed with browsing Rent The Runway and because I’ve always been obsessed with those “Fairytale Moments” I thought I’d share a few of my favorite formal gowns for every occasion…you know, just in case you have any coming up.
If you’re channeling Kate Middleton:
Or you know if you’re attending a black tie business dinner, have great seats at the ballet or just want to be the most understated and elegant one in the room…
If you’re embracing your inner Cinderella:
Or perhaps going to prom, a masquerade ball (I think I’m going for the nude one on the left for new year’s eve), or just hoping to feel like an actual Disney Princess for an evening…
If you’re going for Short & Sassy:
Or find yourself needing the perfect dress for a Bachelorette party, a night in Vegas or a Birthday bash…
If you’re pretending to walk the Red Carpet:
Or if you’re winning an Oscar (or you know any sort of award), attending a Fraternity/Sorority formal, or a super classy holiday party…
Clearly I’ve been daydreaming about all of the occasions I may need a jaw dropping, head turning gown to make my grand entrance. Ideally I’d wear a princess dress every day but life keeps getting in the way of my delusions of royalty…inconvenient.
Where do you turn when you have a formal event? I wish I would have known about Rent the Runway when I was in high school and prom dress shopping. I’m so glad I have a few formal events on my holiday calendar…I was just starting to get desperate enough for an excuse to dress up that I was actually missing high school (just for the prom and homecoming dances, don’t judge me)! All dressed up with no place to go tends to be the theme of my entire existence.
Have fun adorning yourself in these bombshell gowns, just don’t forget to be home by midnight (;
P.S. This is not a sponsored post even though it totally seems like a shameless plug for Rent the Runway. I would love if Rent the Runway wanted to offer me a free dress rental, but sadly they have not. I’m just obsessed with looking for occasions to look like a Fairy Princess.
