So I’ve started to make Wednesday coffee dates around these parts a habit. I’m sort of digging it (and I hope you are too). The fact of the matter is I love coffee, not just on Wednesdays but every day of the week (multiple times per day). My new Big Girl job has a Keurig. I haven’t tried it yet because I’m afraid I won’t know how to use it and I’ll break it. I’m also afraid to leave my cubicle at any old time just to get coffee because what if someone who is like a real grown up says to me “WHAT ARE YOU DOING OUTSIDE OF YOUR CUBICLE?! GET BACK TO WORK!” I think I would burst into tears. So I’m sticking to Starbucks in the mornings and on my lunch breaks for now. However I think…when I can use a Keurig on my own, that will be a sign I’ve made it, a sign I can do anything.
Today is a special kind of coffee date because today we have some special guests, it’s like a group coffee date…it’s like when all the girls on Sex and the City get together and have brunch and have girl talk time. So basically today is just fabulous, because I have three other pretty ladies here to join me (cue the confetti).
Jenny is the happy little Sunflower behind Sprinkles & Sundresses. Jenny’s girl crush is Ingrid Michaelson, and she feels beautiful wearing a new outfit (me too girl!). I promise I am not exaggerating when I proclaim Jenny as a little ray of sunshine and it looks like buzzfeed agrees with me because she took a quiz and found out if she were any Disney character she would be Olaf from Frozen. Jenny says she likes warm hugs.
Desiree just absoloutely warms my heart. Something about her is so sweet and innocent (in a GOOD way) she is surely a Charlotte (We’re still talking Sex and the City here). I love her and her blog Love Desiree. You should probably just take my word for it and love her too. A girl after my own heart, Desiree relates to Blair from Gossip Girl. She is addicted to Starbucks (obvi why she was invited on the coffee date),Chipotle and believes Harry Potter should be required reading for everyone. Please be my best friend RIGHT now.
Sarah from none other than Sarah Christine Style is fabulous. She’s probably fabulous in a bajillion ways. First of all we are Tri Delta sisters so she obviously loves dolphins at least half as much as I do, second of all she’s a computer engineer so she understands binary code and other helpful languages that make computers and blogging and flirting with cute guys who work in tech possible (oh did I just say that)…OH and most importantly HER STYLE (which she describes as “comfy and casual with a little bit of sexy or girly details to them”)! She is out to take the fashion and beauty blogging world by storm. Sarah indulges in wine and dark chocolate as her guilty pleasure and believes life is magical because every moment of every day you have the power to choose happiness and positivity (told you she is inspirational). Sarah advises everyone read “The Power of Habit-What we do in Life and Business” and she seems to be pretty on par with things so I suggest we all listen.
So what are my Coffee date questions for you today my pretty little lobsters (I’ve clearly been spending a solid amount of time with seafood)? I so so loved reading Jenny, Desiree and Sarah’s responses to my questions…I want to ask you a few of the same things!
