Life planning…is it just me or are some of the best and worst things in life one in the same? Looking towards the future is both exhilarating (think of all the possibilities) and terrifying (am I the only one who especially resonates with the “confused” part of my favorite song “22”??). I am currently in a “transitionary” phase of my life which translated into “real talk” means “I just graduated college and I don’t know what I’m doing”. My Type-A personality is all out of whack. My days have become less scheduled and my body is learning how to function with the lack of routine. Regardless, I am not the sort of person who can sit around idly waiting for life to just happen to me. I’m an inherent planner.
Between blogging, nannying, and all of the random social events that come along with living in a frat I’ve needed a little assistance staying organized. The day to day routine that comforted me throughout the school year (though a tad overwhelming and mundane) is long gone and the whirlwind of Summer has arrived! Each week’s schedule is vastly different and day to day my life is sort of a compilation of craziness (in a good way of course). As a huge Kate Spade fan I fell in love with the Bella Bookshelf 17 month Agenda. It is so whirly girly whimsical that I love opening it up and just looking at the pages. Books, Bows and Polka Dots (oh boy)!
As a history major and literature fanatic I was instantly drawn to the “Bella Bookshelf” cover. One of my favorite qualities of Kate Spade products is they seem to combine just the right amount of polished and professional with girly and fun! I think the “Bella Bookshelf” print screams nerdy chic which is a characteristic I like to prescribe to myself when I’m feeling overly optimistic. If nerdy chic isn’t your thing there are plenty of other adorable styles because HELLO! Kate Spade rules. If it made sense to order 3 planners I would because they’re just adorable #NotebookAddict. Did I mention there are adorable phrases only the team at Kate Spade could properly inspire scattered throughout the agenda, my personal favorites include “Flirt with a handsome stranger” (I’ve been nailing that one), “lose your head in the clouds” and “sing outside the shower“. Do you ever just lay awake at night wishing your personality could emulate the vibe of one brand and do you ever just wish that brand could be Kate Spade? …Or is that just me?!
Do you use a paper planner to stay on top of your life? I literally check my planner fifty times a day and color coordinate everything. I simply cannot function using the calendar app on my phone, I am a paper planner girl through and through.
Wish me luck at my job interview this afternoon. If I nail it I might just have to go on a Kate Spade office supply shopping spree (BUT SERIOUSLY HOW PERFECT ARE THE BOW PAPER CLIPS…I NEED TO PAPER CLIP ALL THE PAPERS!)
