Hello my Pretty Princesses, I’m sure this needs no explaining but spring makes the world seem so much brighter and happier. The sun shining makes me want to frolic and cartwheel and weave flowers into my hair. I’m a huge fan of clothing and accessories that can help me to channel my inner hippie flower child. Luckily, Chelsea from The Girl Who Loved to Write About Life contacted me regarding her adorable etsy shop, Pretty Lovely Littles. Speaking of amazingly multitalented people, Chelsea is a blogger, published author (her first book was just released) and crafty creator. She’s one of those people you want to hate because she’s totally adorable and totally successful but you just can’t because she’s sweet as can be.
The minute I received my beautiful handmade headbands in the mail I freaked out. I knew I loved Chelsea’s products (because duh) but I didn’t realize how unique and high quality they would be! If it hadn’t been a horribly rainy day I would have skipped barefoot in the green grass right then. Today was fabulous because I was able to live out my whimsical flower child dreams at one of my favorite parks in Seattle (rolling hills, daisies and a city skyline view are a winning combo right?!) Just while conducting my hippie photo shoot I received SO many compliments on my headbands, I truly felt like a Fairy Princess.
I really tried to switch it up to show how versatile my Pretty Lovely Littles can be. Of course every tutu looks better with a flower crown, but these headbands can be worn more casually (perhaps to an outdoor Summer concert), with a boho gypsy look (I was trying to be a dragon princess, so I thought I was pretty bad a**) and of course a simple dress. Which look of mine do you think worked best? How would you dress up (or down) a flower crown?
Please take the time to check out Pretty Lovely Littles (you won’t regret it, pinky promise)!
P.S. Chelsea was generous enough to send me these perfect pretty lovely littles for free (I know, I’m still stoked about it) but these headbands are SO me I would have given them a raving review no matter what. All Fairy Princesses should have a Pretty Lovely Littles flower crown and that opinion is 100% my very own.
Thank you to Jeff Henkel for taking all of my lovely photos. He’s capable of making an awkward girl like me look presentable for the internet.
